Default Wow what a difference and some ?'s

Ok guys I changed my bad o2 sensors and reflashed my 93 tune and wow the car feels totally different, back to a beast. Is that supposed to happen lol? I know reflashing could help some but the o2 must have been real bad or something. Normal then for this to happen?

also when I went to change the o2 they didnt quite match so I had to shave off two little plastic things on the sides, is that normal o'rielys checked to make sure it was the right sensor and occording to them it was.

I had a third code p2126 I think, it went away after the change and reflash so far, I hope it stays off. about to look that up right now. ok I dont see anything about this code. ima keep looking, if ya know what it is though please let me know.

Thanks guys.

p2126 is a throttle/pedal position sensor code. probably a dirty throttle body. Clean it and see how it feels. Other possibility is the pedal needing re-calibration. I think this is done by turning the key forward but not starting, waiting for all the normal lights to turn off on the dash, then slowly press the pedal in all the way and then let it out slowly all the way. turn off then turn the car on and I believe it is re-calibrated.

Re-flashing sometimes gives the car a bit more pep because it goes back into learning mode, and gives you a blank slate for its memory.

Since you have true LT's, you have the front O2 extenders so you WILL need to shave off those tabs on any front O2 you buy at the store. I went through this installing mine, and I just replaced one and had to shave it off as well.

It is not normal to have to modify the aftermarket o2 sensors. I put bosch sensors in my front 02's and they fit just like stock.

Do you have front O2 extenders?

Thats why he has too. For some reason with the extenders you have to trim off the tab. I ran into this during my ARH install, I called them and they said to just trim them off, its normal.
