i know I cant run it without the tune.

I was saying I would probably just run an 87 tune or an 89 tune. idk if the premium here is 93 or 91, the gas on the shore is crummy

also, does it matter who I get the tuner from? its the SCT tuner, but does it matter if I get one from late model, who has a BBR tune or one from CJ pony parts? or american muscle?

Most places that sell the SCT don't write their own tunes so you're stuck with the canned tunes from SCT. They're lame (maybe 15 RWHP; more or less in some cases) compared to tunes from Brenspeed, AM/BAMA, VMP and a few others. A good custom tune will gain you 15 -25 RWHP, with octane being one of the variables. But even the 87 custom tune runs circles around the stock 87 tune. I run my Brenspeed 89 tune about 99.9% of the time.
