strut towers
ok so i made an amature mistake and took off my strut tower brace while the car was in the air..... and now i can't get the bolts on top of the tower to slide into the holes so i can put the nuts on anyone know what i should do to fix this?

I am brain dead at the moment so I'll answer this in both ways I interpret the problem.
if yours is the same as mine, where there's a U type / shape clip with the bolts that come through the under side (omg whyyyyyyy ford whyyyyy).. I have to imagine this would be easiest if you removed the front wheels and used magnets to hold the U's in place, until you could get one of the nuts on.
if yours is different and the body flexed and now it doesn't fit .. well, sounds like you'd have to get it back on the lift to relieve the pressure again.

well the reason i didn't just remove the knuckle and do it like i was doing suspension was because i didn't want to have to remove the brake line etc etc, the passenger strut tower actually somehow rotated so i couldn't have lined up the the 4 studs. I just used a jack to support the knuckle (and brake caliper) undid the bolts holding it on and the sway bar link, rotated the strut and popped her back in place.. the only reason i had any problem was cuz i was being lazy lol
