Default My mustang needs frame work

The other night I went through a ditch and hit a tree. It drove the drivers side front tire and frame rail in. I was wondering how to go about buying weld in parts. I'm going to have a professional straighten the rails. But the other frame parts I want to try and do my self.Btw I have a welding shop to do the work. Also I have only had it two months and no insurance, but ill still be paying on it for 3 more years. So I have to fix it.

I have insurance but won't cover anything cuz its liability, I financed it with my own money through a cd. So I wasn't required.

This is a poster ad for having full coverage insurance always. The couple of bucks you would have saved is now long gone - but you already know that.

I'm sorry for the loss.

I would't use the term 'financed' since it was a cash purchase through your own funds. Banks require comprehensive coverage on vehicles financed through them.

Bent frame in some states is a totaled car with a salvage title and uninsurable. Better check that before you bother fixing it.

Sucks to hear about your ride but at least you are ok!

Well, that really sucks and sorry to hear.

Plus any car worth value, even if it's an 05/06 mustang is still worth having it fully insured.

I didn't go full coverage on my toyota corolla when I had it since it was 11 years old and was worth $3k at most. It wasn't the end of the world if that beater was totaled.
