Heads
I'm thinking of getting the ford racing CNC'd heads
before you say its not worth it let me explain more.
some time ago when changing spark plugs I did something very very stupid and long story short a shop had to remove the sleeve that the spark plug goes into, and replace it.
Ford does not consider it a replaceable part (they had to get a junk head from a salvage yard and cut it up to get a good sleeve.
then had to force shrink it so they could expand it in the hole.
now they did a great job and got it running agin but I think the sleeve is a little to far in (think millimeter or less off) and at one point I pulled the plug and the ground electrod was bent.
so while it works I don't feel its 100%
and the price of the Ford racing heads is about the same as ones from tituswillfordparts.
and it seems they don't make the 16mm heads anymore so as I'd have to get the 14mm heads and thus the new coils I figure I'd have to do both heads and the coils.
So how hard is it really to install new heads?

You don't have to pull the motor (it's easier if you can but you don't have to).. as far as how hard, well that depends on your mechanical skill and the tools you have.. First timer, expect to spend a few days working away and being frustrated. A 3V takes me an entire weekend to pull heads and I'm not new at it..

Big job, while the cylinder heads can be done with the engine still in the car, I do know I would not try it this way. I think this would be a good time to change to the later model 12mm heads. While not a comprehensive list, you will need the following:
1. Complete LH and RH 12mm Cylinder Heads
2. 12mm spark plugs
3. 12 mm coil packs
4. Head Gaskets and TTY Head Bolts, FRPP # M-6067-3V46
5. Camshaft Drive Kit, FRPP # M-6004-463V (better and cheaper than collecting only the individual parts needed)
6. Camshaft Phaser Bolts, (2) @ # 3L3Z-6279-DA
7. VCT Housing Gaskets LH # 3L3Z-6C286-EA and RH # 3L3Z-6C285-AA
8. Harmonic Damper Bolt OEM TTY or ARP, ARP # 156-2501

Thanks
I'm thinking of
http://www.americanmuscle.com/frpp-ported-rh-head.html
http://www.americanmuscle.com/frpp-ported-lh-head.html
http://www.americanmuscle.com/frpp-coilset-0810gt.html
http://www.americanmuscle.com/ngk-iridium-372.html
so are the other parts not re-usable? If so then I'll have to add up the costs of them likely on jegs.com, sicne I don't think I've seen them on americanmuscle.com
