Delete plates and cams - worth it?

Powdercoating is an awesome option due to its durability and its not very expensive. Some places will send you a set, then you send back yours for a slight refund. Call it a "core charge"

While we're on the subject, has anyone dealt with Bama lately? I bought my C&L CIA and SCT X3 before they hooked up with American Muscle. Wasn't the guy's name Doug? I don't see him on the AM web site. Obviously going to need a new tune if I do these mods and kind of hoped they'd still have my car on file.

Just a quick note. I did have a bama tune when I originally did my cams. I had the free tune for life as well. My car ran good even before the cams. Then, in reading here and there, I decided to give Brenspeed a try for the tune. What a difference! Much better response, and it pulls harder than the prior tune.
Not to try and say anything bad about Bama, but my car is certainly better with the tune from Brenspeed. Could that be because it's their cams? Possibly yes. Although Bama told me, when I asked if they can tune DR cams, "cams are cams, we can tune for any of them."
