Dyno results and altitude question
Here's my results from today. This was with Brenspeed 91 tune, Bassani x-pipe & axle-backs, and JLT intake. People told me my 4.10s gave a false low.
My question is looking at the sheet, did the Dynojet correct for altitude here in Salt Lake? Looks like pressure was really low. Forgot to ask before I left. How's my 4.6 running for being so unmodified?
I appreciate any input, please school me!

The "CF: SAE" in the upper right of the graph indicates the dyno numbers are corrected for ambient temp, humidity, altitude, etc.
Stock manual S197 GT's normally dyno anywhere from 255-265 rwhp, and autos anywhere from 240-250 rwhp. Does your ride feel faster with the mods?

The dyno was a new experience for me. It looks like the mods made a good difference, yeah it is night and day from a stock GT. Longtubes are next so I can be useful here and post up what difference they made using the same dyno.

Yeah I agree it does seem low.
I was disappointed because my buddy made 317/315 with same mods and BBK longtubes with Hotrod cams. His dyno run was back in Tx @ 413 ft altitude. Thats why I was wondering if this dyno figured in the altitude or not.

Americanmuscle.com (and Ford) say that a car with longtubes will see a 30rwhp gain from the Hot Rod Cams.
Here was my dyno sheet:
A friend of mine made 285rwhp and 297rwtq with 4.10's, an axle back, intake, and 91 tune.His intake and tune only got him 15 rwhp and 5rwtq more than me (admittedly, we feel his dyno fell short of expectations).
I know of another local guy who said his GT with full exhaust, intake, tune, under drive pulleys, hot rod cams, and charge motion delete plates made about 335 rwhp. That's a lot of money but he picked up a total of about 65rwhp (Don't know the torque).
The key in looking at the dynos with all the parts on is not necessarily what the max power is but how long it is holding a higher power level. I would rather hold 290rwtq for 3,500rpms than peak at 300rwtq for 500 rpms.
If I can get my car on the dyno this weekend, I will post up what I made with my current set up which is Mac longtubes, offroad Mac ProChamber, and Bassani axle back with 4.10 gears.

I agree, it's easy to get lost in dyno numbers.
I was reading up that there are so many things that can change numbers on a dyno that you just have to use it to see what you make power with so I'll just be happy with how fast my car goes instead of numbers. And I'll use the dyno to make sure what I do is working.
