I bought my car with the cams so I can't tell you how they compare but I will tell you that low rpm drivability is difficult in my car. Through first and second I need to constantly accelerate, ie keep my foot on the gas. If I take my foot off the gas the the below 2000 rpm in first or second the car will do this bucking thing. The consequence of this is that I ride the clutch a lot in stop and go traffic and parking lots. Also I have a catted exhaust and it is loud enough for my neighbors already! Although it might be because of my axelbacks which seem to resonate.

Thats the downside of having a hot rod stang. On the other hand, that lope will make up for it. It's one of the sexiest sounds a car can make. And the car loves to rev past 3000. It becomes addicting.
