I just installed the Steeda UDP's, and I can feel smoother reving and it pulling a little better. But when I get on the highway (60 mph+) the car will eventually flash the check engine light and lose power.

I got the p0300 and p0304 code, which is a misfire. I have read through other forums, and the problem may be the crank pulley not properly tightened. I am not really sure though..I say this because im not sure if I tightened it properly..if so does anyone has advice how I should do it?

So, has anyone had this problem, and what should I do to fix it?

Did you use a new crank bolt? The Ford shop manual outlines this procedure for tightening the bolt:

Stage 1: Tighten to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).
Stage 2: Loosen 360 degrees.
Stage 3: Tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).
Stage 4: Tighten an additional 90 degrees.

The guide on this forums said not to, but a step by step video said to re use the crank bolt. I did re use it, because I couldnt get the new one in all the way (maybe i did something wrong?)
I attempted to tighten the bolt like you said, but again not sure if i did it 100% correctly. I may take it off and do it again..

I think the bolt you couldn't get in all the way was the installer bolt. It's longer and only used to seat the pulley on the crankshaft (see step 13 here)

I had a similar issue with BBK aluminum pulleys on my '04. It was a balance issue that caused a vibration about 2700 rpm and tripped the code. Can't say it's the same with yours, though.

Did you follow instructions? Hope you didn't use an impact gun.

Yeah if you torque a bolt to a spec and then are told to turn it past that spec it is design to have the threads distorted so it is less likely to back out, one time use only though. Get it back apart and put the new bolt in before it blows up. If the issue comes back maybe the steeda rep can help you.
