Even a 302 isn't going to need a full 3" exhaust.

Maybe if you go with the 326, but you'll be leaving power on the table with a 3" header.

There actually is an IRS kit for the S197, but Griggs recommended against it.
Ah, I thought you were talking about the rear axle. Thank you for clarifying.

Rear lower control arms are the first must on suspension!

Maybe follow that with new balljoints and an anti bump steer kit. JMO

Even a 302 running a ton of boost?

Brenspeed rates their engine at 1000hp. If I bought one I would shoot for a close to that as I could get.

I figured I'd start in the rear with control arms and possibly a watts link.

I'm gonna hold off on the bumpsteer kit until I actually lower the car, but it's on the list.

So IF I did LCAs, I would probably order a Heim/Urethane jointed Watts link from Griggs as well as ball joint LCAs. That actually may work out well because I need to change out my gears as well.

By the way, I will GIVE my 4.10s that are in my car now that have like 5,000 miles on them to anyone that will do/help with the swap and can do high quality work.

No kidding. I'd do it in half a day and a case of beer for that. Watts links are awesome, but as I'm finding out with mine, they take some serious tweaking to get just right. Totally worth it, just my experience.

Yea, they're sweet for lightly modified rides, but doing 450hp on stock rubber? Not gonna have traction with those gears.

Why are you using stock rubber? That should be your first upgrade. I have a friend that is Saleen charged, he removed his 4.10's at that point.

Because the car only has 8,000 miles. I'm not about to buy new tires when these still have tread left anyways
