I've seen big number claims but I've only seen small number dyno sheets. The best way to approach the situation is to call Comp cams and see what they recommend for the most power gains or what they would recommend for you current combo provided it will stay the same. I can't see FRPP cams giving you 20-30RWHP without any head work and high RPM

I'm no expert on cams, but a friend of mine who used to work for Cheverolet as an auto tech, and actually has a 3-page article in one of the mustang mags for his 00 GT with a 125 shot, basically explained that in the mod motor cars the cams don't actually give you any real power gains, but what it does do is move the powerband where you make the power, which of course, if you're FI, then it adds more etc.... Some others may counter that information and I'm all ears.

Ic ic also. I work as a valet at a hotel. One mustang came in and i told him i would take care of his car. I asked him wat he had done to his car and he told me had frpp hot rod cams and frpp intake manifold. When i drove the car around i noticed in idle the whole car vibrates. Is this because of the cams or probably something else? Anybody experience this?

That'd be the cams. To see noticeable gains from the cams, you need to have the supporting mods as well. Generally speaking, you need LT to go with them.
