Going for turbocharge 700whp
#31
hi guys, did you used the factory headers and flip it to other side or you've fabricated a custom one ? I noticed that some has used the F150 headers when going for turbo! not sure what is the easy and perfect way to do it.

You can use the stock headers or any shorty header designed to work with the stock H pipe. I am running the garrett GT4094R 1.09 a/r. I'm just under 600HP at the rear tire on 12 psi of boost and 91 octane. Only 15 degees of timing right now.
Use a 4 inch downpipe, if at all posible with a free flowing exhaust. I am having back pressure issues that I am working on now before I turn the boost up some more.
I used the Mishimoto R Line Intercooler, a very well made 4" intercooler.
Good luck with your build.

I am running the bmr k-member with the 1/2" lower motor mounts and the bmr a-arms. I might switch it out to the race craft setup at some point, but the bmr k-member is a nice piece.
