suspension setup

suspension setup
If I buy a 2007-2010 Shelby GT500 Shock, Strut, and Spring combo, will I need to buy GT500 eibach sportlines, or GT eibach sportlines?

GT500: http://www.americanmuscle.com/eibach...ngs-gt500.html
Also will the 2013-2014 suspension work on my 2006 mustang gt?
If I decide to not buy shocks/struts/springs, will adding eibach sportlines to my stock struts and shocks give me a harsh ride or will it be fine?
My goal is to lower my car and get handling out of it on a budget. I don't wanna spend $1,000+ for a suspension setup.

Let me know what you come up with! Have an '05 V6 vert that needs rear shocks and outer tie rod ends. Thought, what the heck, maybe lower it and make an improvement? Ok, well here's the story. AM's SR springs don't work on verts, neither do Steeda Ultralites, so have to go progressive Steeda sport springs (272 vs. 180). Need adj pan hard (120), Bump steer kit (130 fixes tie rods though), shocks/struts (need adj or shocks special for lowering, 300) and probably shock mounts to replace OEM (GT500 mounts 120). So, looking at 942 in parts alone. Got est of 700 labor including alignment. Needless to say this is the route I am going... Stock take of shocks/struts 100, tie rod ends 80, maybe new shock mounts 120. for a total of 300 parts and no lowering. Oh well. Sucks that you can't lower a mustang with shocks for under 1500.

Thanks 86HOGT, I might try it, picked up jack stands and going to get a floor jack tonight. Got a rear stabilizer bar coming to mount on it this weekend. Pain finding something to fit a v6 vert.
The back springs I am most worried about as the axle won't lower enough to decompress the springs because of the frame support on the vert. Or so I have been led to believe! So renting a non-center compressor is in the cards for me anyway! Saw some good Youtube vids about changing the fronts.
Might try to do the whole thing. Except for alignment that is.

Put the rear sway bar on... should have done this 9 years ago when i bought the car! Was a tremendous difference, quieted the back end down a lot. Not bouncy, decreased the dive on breaking and slots right in on the corners. Have no idea why I waited to do this, but would recommend to anyone who has an older v6 that came without one, to add.

I carefully shopped around when planning my lowering of my GT, yes, I had parts sitting for 8-10 months cause I got busy with other things and my parts list wasn't complete, but carefully shopping will do wonders to your wallet.
I purchased some Vogtland spring last year for $70 shipped from Ingalls Engineering, I also purchased their adj. rear panhard rod and relocation bracket for $97 shipped.
GT500 strut mounts from AM for $110 shipped and Koni STR.T struts and shocks from The Tire Rack for $336 shipped. Misc. parts came to about $50, so for about $660, my car looks and handles better than I ever thought. The drop of 1.3" all around is perfect and I couldn't be happier!
Yes, I lucked out and was very patient on my purchases as I had no idea that Koni would be offering their awesome sale as of now(I nearly made a mistake and bought brand X struts and shocks). I'm sure those Vogtland springs are no longer available for that price, but with lots of searching and patience, a quality coil at a great price will surface eventually. I suggest people do their homework, listen to the pros on this forum(not pure vendors, but guys who use what they sell or are just racers with vast knowledge of what works and what's fluff). For my planned budget and needs, my setup fits the bill and is made of quality parts with a good reputation, everything fit like a glove and no funny sounds or after effects.
