I've been a customer of brenspeed, lethal and americanmuscle. However they seem to be partial to F/I beyond the usual bolt-ons or direct me to the typical solutions (which i dont mind if its the best way) like just getting everything from FRPP or Comp.

I'd just like to get some input from a person on here who has been through this route or atleast that knows of a shop or person that can help me out. (since i will also be needing a remote tuning session)

If you want to go the naturally aspired route, either of the cams you listed work well. To add more onto the cylinder head options. You'll hear a few guys mention they lost low end torque when porting the cylinder heads. This is true if that's all you modify to the heads. However, the only way I would send the heads out to be worked on (if N/A), is to have them ported AND milled. Milling of the heads can bump your compression up considerably. More compression = more power and torque if you're N/A. Unless you're going to raise the compression too, porting is not worth it.

Also, the Ford Racing intake manifold will delete the charge motion plates. No need to purchase CMDP's if you're using that intake manifold.

Hope this helps guide you a little bit! Hit me up if I can be of any other assistance.

Remember, there are two different versions of ported heads from FRPP. Nothing wrong with running FRPP stage 1 CNC'ed heads on an N/A car. Yes, I am F/I, but most of the time I am not in boost and the car still pulls like a freight train with stage 1's, 127450's and 3.73 gears. I wouldn't be afraid to put stage 1 heads and at least Comp 127300's on an N/A car.

Where are you? 12.85 on slicks and skinnies?? I ran 13.0@107 with a horrible 2.01 60ft on the stock BFG's and that was before the ARH headers. Soemthing aint right, fix that first before you waste anymore money on mods.

Thanks for the info guys. This helps alot.

@SpartaPerformance, We just have a horrible track. The fastest car here, an '13 Cobra jet average's around a 1.6 60ft time. I've tried numerous techniques to drop my 60", flash stalling, foot braking at different rpm's, dropping tire pressure. Non of it seems to get me under 1.9 seconds. I ran different tires last time, 26 x 10.5, this just resulted in more tire spin. I did get a slightly higher trap speed.

Default Engine Rebuilt - now having performance issues

Sorry for coming to this discussion late.
06 Roush Stage 3 - rebuilt engine with forged pistons & rods, 9.5:1 compression, FRPP CNC ported heads, Comp Cams XFI-NSR Phase I, 47lbs. injectors, GT 500 TB, Cold Air Intake, Cobra Dual Fuel Pump, and 8lbs. of boost. First dyno pull revealed pegged MAF so changed to SCT 5000. Getting 436hp at the rear wheels. Problem is .... no guts between 2000 - 3000RPM and worse than that is when I punch it I get alot of chocking and studdering before it starts to take off. What have I done wrong????????
