so lately my mustang has been overheating and wasting coolant.. checked the fuse ,which was burnt to crisp.. got it replaced.. now the fan does come on until it reaches optimum temperature ,then it shuts off.. bear in mind it only, the fan only stays on if the ac is on, other than that it does not come on at all when optimum temperature is reached.. BTW its a 2007 mustang gt.. i have thought about the possibility of the relays being at fault , but i do not know how to check if the relays are the problem.. help would be appreciated.

Replace the relays to see if it helps.....

Not sure where the fan gets its signal to turn on but might be that may be the issue. Research what sends power to the fan relay......
