Default Hot rod cams, catalytic converter safe?

Been watching some youtube videos with some bad *** Hot rod cams.

Just curious if they were catalytic converter safe or not since they have such an aggressive idle. Kind of a loaded question I guess lol

that's good to know! I always thought cams would eat up the cats due to all the unburnt fuel and aggressive loping.. great looking Mustang BTW. I still remember your ride from back in the days

With a proper tune, no issues but its gonna sound so much better with offroad pipes or HF cats.
