Fan assembly issues. Odd circumstance?
Okay--so basically, my car is in the shop. ...for its FOURTH replacement fan assembly.
I've had my '05 for a year now. No fan issues until around April of this year. Well, ever since my car has been overheating, I've been taking it in to get it checked out. First time I took it in they replaced everything except the fan (heater core, heater hoses, etc.). Next time it overheated it was because the fan wasn't coming on so they replaced that (around a month and a half later in June). Worked for a month or so and then they had to replace it a second time claiming that it had shorted out (this was in July). In a matter of weeks the second fan shorted out again somehow--so fan #3 had been installed (just last week).
Up until recently it went out again (yesterday) and told them that the issue may be electrical (obviously).
So...could it be a bad relay? Fortunately I have not had to pay for any parts or labor since the first replacement...but I'm still a little frustrated to be honest ! Thoughts, advice?

Fortunately: Fan didn't need to be replaced (wow!), and it was something else...they ended up replacing the thermostat housing.
Unfortunately: The part itself was only $20+ (no problem, but....) Labor? $115.00.
Hopefully I have no further issues. I'll keep ya updated as the next few weeks commence.
