Rev's jump to 2K at startup after cleaning T/B.

Mine was doing the same thing. Turns out it was leaking air around the MAF sensor. I put a bigger rubber seal around the MAF and it stopped the leak.

thats a good idea... I need to go get a generic rubber seal and slot it for the MAF... come to think of it I'll bet dollars to donuts thats where my issue is with the seeking idle....... it's the only thing I havent really checked, everything else is perfect...
Course I am in the process of creating my own CAI... using the 05-07 and 09 tube, a 90mm steeda maf and the 117mm filter

my brenspeed tune has always rev'd to about 2k, so did the whipple tune. I had another tune where it would just sputter to life.

All cars rev up when you start them, it's normal.
