vortech is in my price range, and im going to rock the tune that comes with the kit till I can get my car to a shop in Xenia Ohio called precision auto sports.

Whatever you do, do not settle for something just because it is in your price range.

Think about it...Price paid will long be forgotten, satisfaction of purchase will linger forever.

Buy what you want or go without until you can afford it.

I would save money until you can buy the intercooled set up. In the long run you will be much happier. I too have pieced kits together in the past, and while it may eventually work nothing it better than something that works right out of the box.

You get what you pay for.

It sounds like you are fast on your way to being unhappy with your purchase. If you're lucky you'll enjoy it for a few days before you start to see how foolish you are / were.

Dude, you are very close to the motherland of the supercharged s197...talk to these guys before you pull the trigger on any Vortech package.

American Muscle emailed me and said they dont have any tech specs on the kit they are selling, wtf

Forget running the stock vortech tune you have cams and LTs. Slow down and rethink everything dude. You don't half *** do anything when it comes to FI. Running the wrong tune just means your putting your motor in a really dangerous state. IMO wait, more research and a different kit.
