From 22 seconds on you can hear it pretty good. Sounds like something's rattling around.

Yeah I will be replacing all that here within the month so I'm not too worried about the sound I'm sure ill figure out what was making the noise once everything is pulled out. Just curious is anyone has any ideas before I swap everything.

My TOB rattled for quite some time before it died. Probably the TOB but you will never know if it all gets replaced. All you know is its quiet again lol.

Default Problem solver 2006 mustang gt shaking

My 2006 mustang gt was sitting for 1 year waiting for a will to go through. When I got it I changed the oil to royal purple synthetic 5w20, and after driving for a a week I noticed a violent shake in the rear starting off in first gear when it was good and hot from driving all day, It didnt do it when it was cold. I drained all the transmission fluid and replaced it with royal purple ATF to recommended fill level. After that it did it a couple of times then one day it all went away. After reading these great forums with experienced people posting I came to realize that my old fluid was contaminated and friction disc was possibly glazed. Another note to avoid premature glazing is to not ride clutch too much let it out quicker when shifting but I am not a mechanic so take that with a grain of salt. I have 40,000 miles on car btw.

In a manual transmission, the friction clutch is totally separated from the transmission fluid. Not like an automatic where the various clutches or bands are located inside the transmission case with all the gears.

I would guess it was a throwout bearing issue that seems to have corrected itself for a little while at least.
