Default New noise question

Hello everyone I have a question concerning a troublesome noise. The last few days I've been hearing a sort of grinding noise when I let off the gas to shift. the car seems to hesitate when i gas her as well. At first i thought it was the E brake because it had been sticking with the extreme cold weather. How ever a friend of mine thinks I may have blown the head gasket/have a knock. Anyone ever experienced this??

Between letting off the gas and disengaging the clutch I hear I grinding noise which goes away after I push in the clutch. Everything shifts smoothly however. I appreciate the feedback guys.

Is the noise from under the car or under the dash? Shoot the clutch pedal pivot point with a lube, then get a CAI & custom tune and rid yourself of the driveability issue while picking up 20-25 RWHP.

If you don't see oil in your coolant overflow or top of radiator or excessive steam from your exhaust, then you likely haven't blown a head gasket.
