Follow all the steps in the vids you've seen. Don't be afraid to change them just TAKE YOUR TIME. I waited till I had a day off and soaked them over night before hand after I cracked them a 1/4 turn. I spent maybe 6 min on each plug!! Loosen 1/4 turn tighten, loosen 1/2 turn, tighten 1/4 turn and so on... Just be patient or find out the hard way. There are hundreds of horror stories. But if you broke a plug your rushing it plain and simple.

numerous misfire codes leading to failsafe mode. have an extra car on hand to return non oem plugs to parts store. oem motorcraft plugs are gapped .054. Autolites and champions are pregapped .045 and .044 respectively. the '05 is very picky. good luck
