I have oil rsidue in my engine compartment in many places, but it is very very little and I have not been as **** about keeping it clean over the last year. Take a picture of the oil and let us see.

If it's standing oil and you can see it drip or pool, that a concern. If it's just dirty oily yucky stuff, I wouldn't be as concerned. Take pic, let us look. Have a beer.
