Default Slow heat

I'm having a problem with getting heat in my '06 GT. The engine comes up to temperature normally, in a couple minutes, but it takes about another 10 minutes to get the heat to blow hot. This just started this year, it used to be as soon as the engine was up to temp, the heat would blow hot. Any one have an idea of whats going on?

Start with checking coolant level. if there is some air stuck in the heater core, it will take longer to warm up the air that passes over it.
Next logical item is the thermostat is potentially stuck open. This means the coolant will flow when it shouldn't be, and take longer to warm up.

Check the coolant level there might be air in the heater, this makes it longer to warp up.
