Default s197 mustang flywheel question

so the clutch burnt up in my 2007 gt, i took the flywheel off and took it to the machine shop but a firend of mine said that you cant get the flywheels in these cars resurfaced because it will not adjust itself enough so did i just waste money and time? i bolted the flywheel back in and put the clutch and pressure plate back on and decided to call it a night for today would like to know before i finish it up tomorrow

your friend is an idiot. have it resurfaced since you took the time to take it off the car. but since I see its back on, I hope you don't have any chatter or other **** going wrong with it. good luck
