Not sure about warranty for the kit because my car is a genuine factory-built (that is Saleen factory built) Saleen that has a warranty through the Ford dealers who are certified to sell and service Saleens. However, you could go to the saleen website and find the closest Saleen dealer in your area and contact them. I would think that a dealer installed kit would be covered under the same warranties, but am not certain.

If you were asking about my Saleen s/c setup above, here it is:
Saleen s/c with stock 4lb pulley
90mm MAF converter
39lb injectors
JDM cold air intake
SCT2 tunes from JDM Engineering
I had the car dyno'd at the beginning of the week:
359.7rwhp on mustang dyno
408.3rwhp on dynojet
Right now I'm looking into some stiffer engine mounts to eliminate my blower-to-firewall clearance issues. I'm also talking with my tuner company about going with a 5.5 lb pulley on the Saleen blower. Should see a 30 to 40hp increase should I go that route.

I think that most experts would agree that centrifugal superchargers have the best adiabatic efficiency amongst superchargers. In our experience the Rotrex centrifugal has excellent efficiency, combining the centrifugal supercharger with a device that helps speed up the impeller quicker is a great thing, in applications where an even greater throttle response is desired.

Is the twin screw supercharger that is used with the saleen going to make the boost instantly like the Whipples? I have heard this puts extra stress on your clutch and driveline because you have boost right away? Is this true?

Yes, the Saleen...like most twin screw blowers, makes it's boost at lower rpms. How quickly you build boost will depend on how hard you open the throttle.
If you're doing lots of hard launches, such as you would at the track, then you are probably putting considerably more strain on your clutch and driveline with a twin screw s/c than you normally would with a NA car. Then again, if you're going to the track and launching hard that often....you really should be upgrading to a higher performance clutch and stronger driveline anyways. But for regular street driving, a twin screw won't put significantly more wear and tear on your drivetrain than if you were still NA. Like anything else.......its all in what u intend to do with the car that determines what you should be looking to upgrade.
