Thanks for all the info. I was more comparing it to a supercharger that builds boost depending on RPM. Like a vortec (magnacharger too?). I would say it's pretty obvious it will put more stress on it than a NA car.

Good for them if they can. But you have to sell ALOT of superchargers to make millions of dollars.

Just installed a P-1SC-1 from Procharger on my '06 GT running about 12 psi boost.

Installation was a little bumpy. Blower belt came completely off twice in two days. Ends up the bolt that holds the crankshaft pulley to the harmonic balancer kept backing itself out.

Everything's great now. The guys at Lone Star Performance in Garland TX did a great job on the tune. I'm peaked at 510 rwhp at 6000 rpm. But what's really great is that I am above 450 rwhp from 4000 rpm all the way to redline.

Gonna try to not to run it too hard (yeah right) until I can upgrade the internals sometime early next year. Thinkin of doing a stroker kit when I do that. We'll see.

I had Lonestar put in my Vortech HO kit, but left the canned tuned wich is very rich with no timing adjustments. Their prices are descent, but turn around and customer service leaves alot to be desired. Only 410rwhp, high 400's is possible with a tune, but I'm scared of tanking the engine. How did you know your boost? I didn't know until I installed a boost gauge recently. It increases boost rapidly and hits about 8.5 when the rev limiter kicks in. Did you order another pulley? Which Eibachs did you install? I installed the Sportlines and it really slammed it down. I'm now wondering what the biggest wheel I can install with it so low. You'll love the new power. Everything I've raced that should be respectable gets torched about the top of third going into fouth ( GTO's , C6's ) Do you ever go down to Ennis, or Kennedale?

Has anyone with a Roushcharger pullied down yet? I'm curious as to how it compares with the Saleen once u start upping the boost, but so far I haven't found anyone who has done anything aftermarket to their Roushcharger yet.

Thanks... Nice set up. I spoke with the Aftermarket Sales Manager at Saleen, who advised that the 2007 281SC will come out of the box with 475 HP. They are getting ready to release an upgrade kit for about 1k that includes a new intake hose/tube, 93mm MAF, 39# injectors, a tune program and a 3.87" pulley. This exact package will be factory and warranted on the 07s... I told him to put me down for one when they release it. They are just waiting on sourcing the pulleys and doing the QA testing and sign-off before releasing the kit.

It sounds like you are about there already with your mods...

I'm assuming, being that you're from LA also, that you're talking to me? I bought a canned SCT2 tune from JDM Engineering. I had my A/F ratios and my dyno runs done at 454 Dyno in Kenner. It's right off of Airline. AJ is a pretty cool guy and he'll help you out with whatever questions you have. If you have need for a dyno or tuning then you should look into his shop.
