I think the FRPP/Borlas sound the best of all, but I can't deal with the drone at cruise. The IMCOs sound second best, but they're not stainless and don't want to deal with corrosion later on. That leaves me with the third best sounding one - the Corsa's - which also happen to be the most expensive, but they're well built and no drone. Life is full of compromise.

Just finished installing my IMCO Extreme exhaust and all I can say is DAMN!!!!! It sounds absolutely amazing, loud and throaty, granted not as loud as Loudmouths which are straight pipes, but loud and throaty nonetheless. I haven’t yet taken it on a drive just started it for about 30 seconds and I am very impressed.
NOTE: HELPFUL INSTALL HINT
I had a hell of a time trying to get the exhaust pipes into the muffler. I did as instructed by losing the pipes up by the H pipe and then having pretty much free play with the whole exhaust pipe but after a good 15 – 20 minutes I just could not get them to mate together.
SO, what I did was take the brackets with the rubber mounts (hangers) for the mufflers completely off by un-bolting them and then put the lose hangers on the mufflers themselves. Then I had no problem fitting the mufflers right into the exhaust pipe and then bolted the hangers back on. I would say it took all but 5 minutes, per side, to put the mufflers into the exhaust pipes and then bolt the hangers back into the frame.
I bet if I had done that from the beginning I could have installed both mufflers and tightened up all the bolts within 20 minutes tops.
I have to say once I looked at the hangers just bolted to the frame my first thought was Ford truly made this car to be very easy to modify, at least the exhaust.
Did I mentioned how much I LOVED THE SOUND of these at idle…
EDITED TO ADD:
If you install the exhaust using the hint above I am willing to bet you will NOT need to losen the bolts at the H pipe.

The drone isn't that bad to me at all, granted I've only drove it about 100 miles since I installed them Wednesday night, but so far it doesn't bother me a bit.

I really don’t think your going to have much to worry about when it comes to corrosion. The IMCO’S are aluminized steel. In other words they are coated with aluminum. When I had my Lightning I put Bassani BX series exhaust on it which were also aluminized steel and had them on for two years. They had no surface rust at all unlike most stainless steel exhaust I had seen on other Lightning’s which can get surface rust and just look like crap.
The IMCO exhaust is also painted which is just another coat of protection when it comes to rust and looking good years later. The tips are polished stainless steel so they will look good for a very, very long time.
I think some people have the wrong idea about stainless steel in that it won’t get surface rust because most do and if you wish to keep them shinny with no surface rust you will have to polish them with polish designed for stainless steel.
Well I was able to take my GT Mustang for a drive tonight with the IMCO Extreme exhaust and it was absolutely amazing. Very deep growl to it especially when down shifting. They are louder then I had expected which is a GOOD thing. I have heard exhaust before at start up and idle that sounded great but once you starting driving got pretty quite where you couldn’t really hear it unless you were getting on it or down shifting.
That is not the case with the IMCO’S. I can just imagine how loud the Loudmouths are since they are a bit louder then the IMCO’S. If you don’t like people looking at you then this exhaust is NOT for you…
Here's a link to the Billy Boat catback exhaust. These are easily, the most expensive things I've ever seen, fit only for oil princes with American Express Black cards. Well over a grand, and they really sound kinda buzz-saw average, almost ricer. For that kinda change, they'd better make my 'stang sound like a Ferrari Enzo.
Sorry for the retarded question I'm looking into an exhaust upgrade that isn't to loud but what is Drone?

Drone is a constant humming bass resonance you hear inside the car in some vehicles when the exhaust flow is vibrating your exhaust system at a certain frequency. In a Mustang, that can happen around 2000 RPM, depending on the pipe and muffler design. Some people don't mind it, but others, like me, get a headache from it.
WHILE Driving back into the parking lot where I work, returning from lunch - The owner of the company was standing in front of the building and watched me as I parked my car.
When I walked up to him he said "Wow.. your car sounded like that car in that movie - ummmmmmm - oh yea... Bullit!"
I took that as a HUGE compliment because that was exactly what I was shooting for.
