Default need help 1993 stang2.3

ok my car has a prob it dies any time i push in the clutch and it is also surging alot it backfires every ten to fifteen seconds and there is a loud sucking pop in my engine bay vary rarley happens i check the spark plugs and # 1,2, and 3 all look like they have 6000 miles on them truthfully only have maybe 100 plug #4 looks almost brand new so this leads me to think that they are getting to much fuel my intake also smells like gas the place were the resonator is that i removed last i replaced the fuel filter which the gas in it was black almost any ideas?

Take your plugs out, clean and gap them .046-.048 then put them back in, check your FPR, if there is fuel in the linie, then it needs replacment.

Once that checks out, pull codes to know whats going on

Fuel Pressure Regulator. If it's blown it will dump fuel into the intake

End of your fuel rail, has a vacuum tube to the upper intake.
