Default Got a few parts.

Well made a drive to larger town salvage yard. Came back with a few things, Got the Volvo twin cam head for a turboforder, 7.5 out of a turbocoupe, large vam turbo inlet hose, and 4 10 hole wheels and covers. I love it. Seen a 85 turbocoupe, [no turbo but rest there was a 5speed] Missing 5speed. I got the rearend. 87-88 minus motor, trans, vam and computer. 2.3 turbo sitting on another car complete. So all you need to do is look for them.

You plan on doin a DOHC conversion? How much do they charge you for heads? Every junkyard around me charges $40 for SOHC complete heads 93 and older, and $60 for complete DOHC 93 and older. I have yet to find me a TOHC lol.... that was a joke

The head going to a person doing the Volvo 2.3 turbo setup. I made a little money out of deal. And he got a bargain. I thought about doing one. But can't afford it. Do much custom work and only a coupe of people do alumium welding and they are a pain to deal with. There comments " Oh I will do it, don't know when or how long, just leave it check back in a month or so.

Wow, thats some ****ed up customer service. The muffler guy down the street welded my aluminum handlebars for free. I could easily get what needs to be welded done around here.

I agree. There is only a few who weld around here and less that do alumium. I have learnt how to wire weld from bodyman for that reason. Not good enough for thin sheet metal but we shall see this winter when I have time. Well I have been having trouble out of the 8.8 rearend in the 89 turbo. Loose and noisy. The 7.5 out of the 85 turbocoupe was for it. I put it in Monday and Tuesday evening. Bolted up nicecly. Have to hook my rubber brake lines to the hard lines on rear end. The rearend had larger brakes. It came out of 5speed car. So should be 345. Accelaration is much better and no noise. I think getting rid of that extra 60 to 80 pounds didn't hurt.
