Default Wider look.

Well I had problem with the 8.8 rearend. Too much play in pinion. Only person local too fix too busy. Well I found a 85 turbocoupe rearend 7.5 345 gears for 70 dollars so I got it and swapped it out. Well it made it wider. I like it.

Looks good.

I would have rebuilt the 8.8 but the 7.5 should last till you start playing with the boost again mg man

I turned boost up past 20 psi once. Had valve rattle. But what a boost. I guess wideband is next to see what is going on. I guess I'll buy a JAW and install. Going to buy one and two o-2 sensor so can use it on MGB and Mustang. The 7.5 will probably go in the SHO mustang if fix the 8.8. The 8.8 will need the 345 gears. It is more suited to me with the c-4 than the 327 gears in the 8.8.

Got back. Oh didn't drag the mustang. Showed in car show. Won a trophy. Lot of fun. Met later that night at a Hobby Lobby parking lot. Some guys decided to do burnt outs. You guess what happened. Somebody is out of a lot money now. Police got him. Will post pictures when get them on my Photobucket.

So an 8.8 rear end is narrower than the 7.5?

No, the TC 7.5 is wider, about the same as the 8.8? 1.5" all together
