i just bought a 1992 lx, and the airbag light keeps flashing a code 12(power supply failure). Does anyone have any suggestions on what may cause this to come on? The car has never been wrecked, and it has 164,000 original miles.

Did you check the fuses? Mine flashes too but I have no desire to track down the problem.

Make sure the bag is getting power and the fuse isn't blown.

The air bag could have degraded and needs to be replaced
