Cool Hey everyone

How's everyone doing? I haven't visited this forum for a while now, so i decided to drop by and say hello.

I've been busy working on my 91 notch. Still stuck on the idea of making my 2.3 DP into a turbo car. So far i've done just about all i can do to the rest of the car without modifying the engine.

I got 89 gt's front and rear say bars, an 88t-coupe rear end with 3.55's, 5 lug swap w/all wheel disc brakes from a 96gt. drilled/slotted rotors, 2" drop springs, 17" Black Gt wheels, and a magnaflow dual exhaust setup w/ custom y-pipe.

I was wondering if anyone knew if you could upgrade the mafs on these cars just like you do with a v8? i have a set of 30 lbs injectors sitting around and i was wondering if I could purchased a maf housing from c&L with the sampling tube for this type injector... would it work?

You could but there really isn't a point in doing it, because you need forged pistons so the motor dosen't pop on you.

There is a ranger here with DP running a turbo... He has a chip tune done to it and has 42# injectors... Think he hit 300 or more RWHP with it

No I think someone on another forum was asking this would need to modify the computer code. Near as I know no one has done much with the 2.3 NA code. Several have done it on the turbo computers. There is a guy or two doing it on D1L1 and C1A1 93 maf on turboford.net but it is not anywhere near solved. Hope they do Would love to use that on my 89turbo. If want to read on it got to
http://www.turboford.net/cgi-bin/ult...39-172556-R5KJ Hopefully in few months something will be done. It still involves a computer to reprogram and wideband. Also a local guy is doing a DP 93 to turbo swap. Hopefully we all can learn something from him.

I have forged pistons ready to install. a problem i'm also having is finding someone willing to tune this setup... i called sct and they prominsed me that their "4 bank eliminator chip" would be compatible with my 91 computer... I'm still a little sckeptical about that... Thanks for the help.
