As most of you have noticed, I haven't been on here much in the past 2 weeks... Well thats because my little Mazda MX6 was rear ended by a person (50 something) who was texting on his blackberry phone... I'm fine, but the MX6 is totaled... Whole back end was pushed half way into my trunk. No pictures of the car because my phone and camera broke in the accident but this is something what my car looked like
Like I said, I'm fine though... life moves on and I bought myself something I've always wanted because of the accident.
A little 1992 GMC Sonoma 4x4 with 185xxx km;s on it (95k miles) for $2000, nice little truck, and fun to drive :P
anyways this is a message on top of mg mans texting while driving, don't do it please, and if you have to, pull over... PLEASE! pull over...

Glad you were ok. I seen this on another forum and came too close to getting hit. Texting is a bigger problem than most know. I drive a E450 Ford so I sit high and can see what is going on from what I see at red lights. I assume they keep it up when drive off. Like said extremely relieved your ok Maurice.
damn your back isnt hurting at all, if it looks like that then id atleast expect you to be kinda sore, im glad your ok i hate idiots that drive distracted theres a lot here in L.A.
I'd get checked out by a chiropractor even if you feel ok now, just in case. Being rear ended can mess all sorts of stuff up.

Yeah, it's a major problem nowadays. I read on the EMT forum that they were transporting a patient code 3 and some chick who was texting pulled out in front of them...damn near rear ended her going 75 mph, luckily she was able to swerve into the ditch.
