Hi, Spotted a 1980 Cobra 2.3t hatchback for sale on my local C'slist for $1300 or b/o... I am actually a ZX and older 2.3 Volvo nut... Have always loved stangs though.... Been looking at them a long time, how are these little babies, car is exremely clean and solid, slight rust at botton of drivers door skin and one corner of the roof at the sunroof, under side of the car is very solid, 4 speed car with just under 100k on it, currently not running, Present owner bought it from a guy that was going to fix it up but ended up going in to the military... said he got the car to run but said it ran like the carb needed a rebuild... Judging by overall condition it seems that it could be a sweet little classic ride, what are your thoughts. things to look/lookout for... oh yeah, have had 2 previous ford 2.3's bought a 71 Pinto brand new and also 1st year fox body 79 Capri new also......
