built turbo car

i daily drive mine. it is not a 2.3 but its fully built with ported heads and aftermarket valvetrain. 11psi made 531/630. It feels good and should be pretty safe so im going to leave it there. mpg is the same as stock until you put your foot into it. been driving it this way about a year now

Mine is daily driver now for several years. Or I should say wife's. No head work. Intake and exhaust ported, 65mm throttle body, FMIC with bypass, Cut off turboelbow and changed to 3" to muffler and 2 1/2 over rearend, k&N in fender, c-4 trans, alumium driveshaft, limited slip rearend from a turbocoupe, poly bushed in rear, adjustable fuel regulator, 93 Black interior. 15psi now staying at that until maybe standalone. Been parked since the snow. Too dangerous to drive in it. Maurice

I don't know what you consider "built" but I DD mine when it isn't icy/salty out. All the standard/easy mods including a ported head. I run 20psi with the stock turbo. Highway driving nets 30-32 mpg pretty easily, around 25-27 with mixed driving.....as long as I keep my foot out of it that is. Low 20's with more spirited driving.

well i ended up trading that car off for a running 90 hatch with an svo engine in it. it does not have the turbo on it though.
i already picked up an aluminum drive shaft and 8.8 rear 3.73s 31 spline posi aluminum radiator and 5lug swap parts
now i have some questions.
is it possible to swap an AOD in instead of the A4LE i believe its called? i been told the a4le doesnt hold much power
