Default Dash Lights won't Stay On

I have a 1993 Ford Mustang LX 4 Cylinders and my Dash lights won't stay on. The Switch to turn on the dash lights has to have a piece of paper wedge in the groove in order to get them to turn on.

Is there an Electrical Problem Or do I need to replace the Switch?

Any options you could give would be grateful!!

Is it the dimmer switch that has to have the paper wedged in it or is it the main headlight switch? Do the lights stay on very long or do they come on and immediately go out?

If you are blowing fuses then it could be an electrical problem, but from the sounds of it, it might just be your switch. Either it is going bad, or the contacts need to be cleaned.

Oh, and welcome to the forum!
