Yeah I think it makes it look a lot cleaner, mine was a little rusty and really dirty, the paint isnt perfect, but it looks better. What would be kool for aluminum valve covers? What about polishing them with a wire wheel on a drill all 1 direction? would it keep its finish?

I tried it, all it did was leave wire marks all over it[&:] But if you took your time and used a buffer at the end it would look great

Did you try it on aluminum valve covers or your steel 1? I want to try it in my 302 valve covers, i remember doing my entire sleds body by hand with emory cloth, it looked good. Would the finish hold up to the water and heat?

Something new I like about 4 cyl mustangs is my ability to stand in the engine bay beside the upper rad hos to work on the car, a lot easier then leaning.

It is way easier, and I used the wire wheel on the steel valve cover

Yeah wire wheel on steel would rust quick without some maybe high heat clear coat if that exists.

So I went out and got some pictures
