okay so i did that to my box and i didn't fell much difference. how ever when i bought my cold air from option i did fell that now i just heat soak the dang thing. I'm in the process of building a heat shield for my manifold to bring the temp down.

my whole engine bay was soaked with oil when i got it, the insulation was completely soaked.. i think that had something to do with the oil in the intake
