Default RE: Im so excited

well mine right now is

Radeon X200 Integrated Video
512 Dual Channel RAM
160GB
Athlon 3500+ 64bit
250 Watt PSU
Vista Ultimate

Will be:

8600GT EVGA
1GB RAM
160GB (Good enough for me)
Same Chip
Keeping vista for the the full DirectX 10 Experience. Seeing that is isn't available on XP yet.
also I'm modding two 250 PSUs together so I will have 500Watts. (new GPUs min required is 350)
Then I have to grab another newer case that I can integrated two PSUs into.

It'll be a power house soon enough. I can still crank up the Video and CPU, only thing lacking is my RAM.

Anyone else dumb enough to use vista? I have it tweaked to the way I like it...no annoyances or anything its pretty much XP with a pretty dress.

Mine has a pentium4 3.0ghz which I also want to upgrade to like another P4 or go to a Pentium D with a least 3.0ghz. I would like to get a core 2duo but them a new motherboard would be needed and so on and so forth. I would sooner buy a new computer then totally build one, considering I don't have the techinal skills needed and the brother that does lives on the other side of the US.

Oh and since were on the subject of computers......I bought a 5pack of 80mm case fans with a 3wire connector but when I plug one up to my extra plug on the MB the computer won't turn on, and when I unplugged it the computer detected a 3.5" floppy drive that I don't have. I had to the go through setup on reboot and turn off the detector for the floppy drive. I know I will have to get some 4 to 3wire connectors but when I look for them there are two different 3wire connections. One has 2wires and the other has 3, which one do I need?? I bought the fans to put two infront of my HD's and one infront of my graphic card and one to help the chipset heatsink. I'll have one left over but oh well it was cheaper to buy in bulk.
