More HP? Swap in a T3, 3rd gen bobs log or stinger header, stage 1-4 bo-port port work, stage 1-3 bo port cam, 3" exhaust, more boost, good intercooler, ported intake, rotated upper, etc etc.

Many mods can be done
sweet man, thanks for all the help. well, i found a TC near me that needs a waste gate and intercooler for $300. but, i might just end up building the engine, and putting in the trans and such. just not sure if i want to do an engine swap right now. and i would do forged pistons and anything else i need, new header, a T3, maybe intake, and for sure exhaust. but, its gotta be dual

Either way the engine is coming out. Do it with a stock engine or aftermarket parts

i cant do the work with the engine in the car? and hell, it still saves the problem of A/C, and any other mis-matching. and i get a rebuilt engine. idk, maybe i will just go back to the 306 swap . im just afraid, if i do the swap, that something isnt gonna work. and yes, i know thats the nature of the beast

The engine has to come out because you need to swap pistons and the only way of taking the oil pan out is to lift the engine.

If you have the money drop a 306 in, but have fun keeping gas in it

thats why im selling the 84, lol. well....im gonna have to think. if i do the swap, i will do it right. but, do you have any problems with the computer, or anything? and what do you run in the 1/4? and i will probably buy a TC, build the engine, get a T3, and anything else i want, then swap it all in. if you hear of any engines or drivetrains for sale in Texas, lemme know. im gonna keep my eye out too.

I'm running a LB2 computer right now and it was running fine, same with the PK1 I was running.

1/4 mile? I was maybe running 15's, maybe 16's? IDK, no tracks near me, but I've beaten a 5.0, turbo sunbird, beretta GT, and some riced out mazda 323 (I was having fun with him) with a A4LD, untuned 2.3 turbo, and a messed up turbo[:@]

dead thread like whoa. lol. but, im selling my F150, and am gonna be doind some work on the Stang to get it inspected. put new brakes on it this week, and having some cosmetic work done now. just trying to decide what to do exhaust wise. im either gonna just install a Flow 40 or 44 and a turn down, or order a kit like this, and have a shop make a y-pipe. what do yall think?
