RE: Volvo Head Swap
fgtj?
You been painting without proper ventilation or playing with some starter fluid?[sm=alcoholic.gif]
I've read about the swap, but it's more work that I'm interested in doing. I have access toa machine shop if I need it so maybe one day I'll reconsider it.

RE: Volvo Head Swap
It really depends on your set-up.
No one has solid numbers on all stock just the head.
But from all the info Ive gathered, you've got a **** load better air flow which makes it better outside boost I would think

RE: Volvo Head Swap
The LIMA engine is the 2.3 ford turbo engine, the B234T is the engine in the volvo.
The head will fit but only with mods to either the cylinder head or the block.
they share the bolt placment, but the volvo head is a little to short so a aluminum block has to be welded on and custom pistons have to be made.
Im missing most of it, but thats why there are links....

RE: Volvo Head Swap
i think it would be a lot easier to use more boost and port the stock or a dp head than messing with that complicated of a swap.
