so i got everything back together, and it doesnt matter what place the shifter is in it doesnt move anywhere. It doesnt even bring the idle down, doesnt load up the engine at all
what is the proper way to adjust the shift linkage.. well i started it and would let it run for about 10 min at a time, and just kept the fluid up, and i figured i was gonna have to tear apart the valve body again... damn.. just before i started that, i tried to shift it again, and it went in reverse and drive.. i just drove it around, it shifts a little high, but into every gear, and they are all working. except for when it goes into reverse, it feels like its a 5-speed and i side stepped the clutch, its not very smooth
does anyone know which way the vacuum modulator is supposed to be adjusted?
I got a new neutral safety switch in today, and now i have to wait for the roads to clear up before i can break in the new rebuild.. we just got about a foot of snow, right after the biggest flood in the city of Fargo's history.. i love this place
