Default A4LD Rebuild

Has anyone done a rebuild on the A4LD? I just got a master overhaul kit from NAPA, and I plan on taking my tranny out next friday. Are there anythings i should watch out for? or keep in mind during this process?

So i got the transmission out, it took a little under 4 hours to do. I took it over to the local "whale of a wash" (self car wash with pressure washers) and got it pretty clean. The pan came off, and the fluid was extremely black, so I figured this was the right thing to do. I took the tailshaft off, and its like that now. I am waiting on an ATSG manual, a shift kit, and a boost valve. I was disappointed to see that inside the master overhaul kit there were no instructions, just about 160 different gaskets, and metal plates.. So i cant really do much until i get this manual. I will try to post pics during this process.
