convertible side cylinder
grr. so you fix one thing and another breaks. wtf chuck?
i just changed out my tachometer and now the speedo is acting funny. no big deal because i saw a puddle of red fluid in front of the drivers side rear wheel.
the drivers side cylinder on the top sprung a leak. i don't know how to troubleshoot it to see if the cylinder needs to be replaced or if a hose broke or something else. but my main question is where does the pump pull the fluid from? does it come from the tranny or anything? it looks like trans fluid.

Hi,
I believe the hydraulics for the top are there own independant system. If you remove your rear seats, you will see the convertible top relays as well as the master cylinder for the top. Then your have the 2 smaller cylinders by either side of the convertible top where the rear interior plastic goes.
