Question Instrument panel question

What would cause an instrument panel to not display the fuel, oil pressure, temp, and battery readings? also the tach jumps and the speed is off by 5mph. Could the panel be bad?

Loose wiring, bad sensors, broken ground, bad cluster

Hi,

Is the CEL on?

You could try grounding out those gauges via the wiring going to the sensors to make sure the gauges are not at fault.

Hi,

Well have the CEL scanned for codes and get back to us.

Did you try to ground out each gauge to see if the gauges are working??

There is an obd1 code checker for sale on amazon, that is ford specific. It works great and was only $35! got tired going to autozone every time it was throwing codes...
