when looking at the pics from the above post I noticed that the engine has a steel pan.Mine is cast aluminim and the transmission I took out had two bell housing bolts that bolt right to the pan .My question is, the donor car is an 89 mine is a 93 , it should work right?

the pedals are in!I took the dash out to cange a few bulbs .It made it easier to get at the top bolts. I plan to leave it off till I get the tranny installed , looks like it will be easier to hook up the clutch cable with it out.

Finally got my tranny this afternoon! When I got it home first thing I had to do was free up the clutch linkage piviot on the belhousing, it took almost 2 hrs . Then I put in the clutch and flywheel. When I took to a4ld out I did not drop the exhaust, I had to drop it for the t5 to fit in.Its bolted in and I am having a few beers ,tuff day.I will have to reuse my auto crossmember, as the donor car's one was rusted away.I also need to purchase a new clutch cable.Hope all this work is worth it.

Got the trans in and functioning ! That is all except it wont start ! I jumped the seloind and ran it on the jack stands. All gears appear to be working fine. But It wont crank even with the clutch pushed in. I connected the wired on the pedal like sleeper showed. On the pedals I got from the bone yard had another switch on the cable side of the pedals.I haven found any where to plug them in yet. Also On the trans there are Two pigtails , nothing matching the plugs from the auto.I also disconnected the wires and put the jumper wireback in and it still wont crank. Any ideas ?
