I was also going to do this, I knew it would add more power, I just read 5-10hp, I think I will for sure now, but I guess I will have to build it custom since that one is only for up to '90 I wouldn't buy that one either since like jpogioli said, it isn't technically a cold air intake. and it doesn't look very nice. I imagine I could build a really nice one custom. and for less than 60 dollars.

I noticed there are alot of cables running into the intake assembly and filter unit, I was just wondering if the entire intake can be replaced with a custom one still, what happens with all the electronics linked to the assembly??
There is only one vacuum line that runs to the air box that opens the door to let hot air from your exhaust manifold to be sucked into the intake tract when it's cold out so the car heats up faster.
The wiring is for the MAF sensor that your car needs to run. You need to attach the MAF sensor into your new CAI so the car runs right.
oh okay ill just attach it in, as for the vaccum line that opens the hatch from the exhaust manifold... being in canada this seems fairly important to do, have you replaced it with a CIA yourself? if so, did you just plug the vaccum line or what??
I have problems with the silencer of the CAI that is broken and becomes difficult to me to star the car when It's a cold day. If I built one I can get the same problem?
