Default Aftermarket K-Members

Hey Guys,

While I'm doing my turbo swap, I am thinking of adding a tubular k member. I know that AJE Racing makes 2.3 specific motor mounts, but granatelli makes a front suspension kit that includes coil over shocks and a-arms which would be nice to have. Does anyone know if there are motor mounts made for this member, or would I have to build my own mounts? Has anyone here used an after market k member in their 2.3 mustangs?

chuckw mounts would work with a tubular member. Im sure the stock mounts would also work except for both mounts im pretty sure you need the lower half. The piece that has the stud and big nut on the bottom. Youd have to re use the lower and the mount its self. And even if u got chuckw mounts youd probably still need the lower half. Unlessss the new member has a different design or lower mount already built in.

sweet, thanks for the link!

so I had another thought about this whole issue. Is the added weight savings plus better handing really going to be more noticeable with a tubuler k member and coilovers over just upgrading the springs and shocks/struts and using the factory member and a arms? I know every little bit counts, especially when dealing with 4 bangers, but would it be worth it in the long run?

also, does anyone know of tubuler a arms that can be used with a factory k member? seems like all the ones i can find have to go with a aftermarket member.
