plugs wires air filter and oil change. so o2 sensor, fuel filter, and the pcv. about the pcv, the ones at the store have a double fitting, and i know mines wrong. question is where does that second line go?
The bottom of the PCV valve connects to the bigger vacuum hose that heads to the block. For the other two vacuum lines, one heads to the upper intake manifold and the last vacuum hose runs along the firewall to a t-fitting that heads to the vacuum ball in the passenger side fender area.
ok well mine is def wrong then. guess whoever did it before was an idiot. its got a vacuum line with a little plastic elbow in it that runs only to the intake. oh this comes from the top of the valve cover, ill try to get a pic in a bit
yeh my pcv is the same way. no valve just to lines with an elbow. now im a general mechanic and i knew that looked wierd but i figured it couldve been somethin ford did so i aint bothered it
figured it out a bit, the pcv is behind the intake under the egr. replaced that and noticed it hadnt been connected to the big line running from the block, seems like it fixed my idle lol. as for the hose on top, dunno exactly what its for but im cleaning it up a bit with just a solid hose, mine seems a bit loose like it would cause a vacuum leak
